JOSETTE PRICE
Main Company Josette Price attended the CLI Conservatory in its third year, where she trained under the creative direction of Teddy Forance. During her time there, she performed works by Bret Easterling, Kenichi Kasamatsu, Billy Griffin & Al Blackstone. Josette has been able to perform at New Jersey Dance Festival & Joel Hall dance (Works In progress). She will be performing at ST. Louis Contemporary Dance Festival this summer under The Initiative, performing “Origins”.
KENDYLL HAZZARD
Main CompanyKendyll Hazzard dances with Kanopy as a company artist, where she trained and performed as an apprentice (2021-2024). She also is a company artist for The Initiative.
She discovered her love for Modern and contemporary dance, and was given the opportunity to perform in masterworks and repertory from artists such as Pascal Rioult, Lloyd Knight, and Martha Graham herself.
As a graduate of the Martha Graham School Pedagogy program (2026), she studied under the mentorship of Virgine Mecene and Lone Larson, with an additional Teaching Artist certification for K-12 students. She is also an alumna of the CLI Conservatory (2025), where she trained under Teddy Forance, Riley Watts, and more.
Beyond performing, Kendyll is a passionate educator and choreographer. She has presented work for film and stage, choreographing for Danceworks Chicago, Bucknell University, u.DL, Isthmus Dance Collective, and Kanopy’s own second company, K2. She has also served as guest faculty at the CLI Conservatory.
JULIA MCCULLOCK
Main Company Julia McCullock is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, and educator whose work explores the relationship between physicality, emotion, and structure. She currently performs and teaches with Backhaus Dance and Pearl Street Dance Collective, and previously served as rehearsal director and company dancer with Twopoint4 Dance Theater, where she trained extensively in floorwork and vertical dance.
Rooted in dynamic floorwork, improvisation, and contemporary concert dance, Julia’s choreography centers the human experience through movement and storytelling. Her recent works include Source Text, created during her 2026 residency with Pearl Street Dance Collective, and Every Waking Moment, developed during a 2025 collaborative residency with Water Street Dance Company.
As an educator, Julia teaches contemporary dance programs across California, including at Northern California Academy of Dance, V&T Classical Ballet, and Bay Dance Collective. Her teaching emphasizes artistry, technical rigor, and creative inquiry.
Julia holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Santa Clara University and continues to create, teach, and perform throughout the U.S., fostering connection and expression through dance.
ALLYSSA MINI
Main CompanyLyss Mini is a multidisciplinary mover and emerging artist based in Eugene, Oregon. They perform with Initiative Dance Company and are a long‑time Resident Artist with Fermata Ballet Collective, where they have appeared in Fall Works, Summer Series, and multiple original creations. Their background includes training at CLI Conservatory, Flockworks, Alonzo King LINES, UNCSA, and Open Space. they have worked with artists such as Teddy Forance, Sidra Bell, Derion Loman, Robert Moses Kin, Kirsten Russell, Lucy Vallely, Ethan Colangelo, and many others. Lyss’s practice is rooted in curiosity, research, and deep physical exploration. They are drawn to collaborative environments that value rigor, investigation, and embodied understanding, and they bring experience across concert dance, film, improvisation, and hybrid forms. Their recent film work includes More Than a Woman (2026). They are currently pursuing a BS in Dance and Human Physiology at the University of Oregon, where they also serve as President of Dance Oregon.
BRIELLE TRIPKE
Main Company Brielle Tripke trained at A&A Ballet in Chicago under Alexei Kremnev and Anna Reznik, performing in classical and neoclassical works like Swan Lake and Rhapsody in Blue. She also taught and choreographed for A&A serving as assistant director for the children’s division.
Brielle continued her professional development as a Trainee with Alonzo King LINES Ballet, where she studied company repertoire such as Rasa and choreographed original works on fellow Trainees. She has worked with renowned choreographers including Natasha Adorlee, Nicole von Arx, and Mike Tyus. Her training also includes summer intensives with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and SALT Contemporary Dance. She is currently performing with Ballet Texas while creating original choreography for dance festivals and artistic events across Texas.
Abby ADAMS
Apprentice Abby Adams is currently training at Madison Dance Academy. She has had the opportunity to perform at Trifecta Dance festival, at Ruth Page Center. Delve Dance Chicago (works In Progress), at the Rooted Space. And Vaulta Current: Dance & Arts Festival In Philadelphia. Abby has worked with Rachelle Fochs & Isaac Knuteson.
KAtrina Switzer
ApprenticeKatrina Switzer is currently dancing at Madison Professional Dance Center. She has performed at Trifecta Dance, Works In Progress Show under The Initiative. Katrina has had the opportunity to work with Roderick Phifer, Hanna Brictson, Elijah Richardson & more.
Hope KRebs
Guest ApprenticeHope Krebs is currently dancing at Elite Dance Centre under the direction of Scott Topel. She will be performing at Delve Dance for there works in progress show under The Initiative. Hope was accepted into the following programs & will be attending the CLI Conservatory SI, Ohio State SI & The University of Milwaukee Dance (on scholarship). Hope will have the opportunity to work with Teddy Forance, Derrick Schrader, Blake McGrath, Riley Watts, Theresa Stone & More.
